Repairing A Flat Tire

Why Bob's Tire Of Winder Tire Repair Process is Superior

While many tire stores opt for less rigorous methods, Bob's Tire adheres to RMA-approved standards for tire repairs. This ensures optimal safety and durability.

Our 7-Step Repair Process:

  1. Locate and remove the damage: We pinpoint the injury, extract the nail, and prepare the tire's interior for repair.
  2. Apply tire patch cement: A specialized cement is applied to the damaged area and allowed to dry.
  3. Insert the plug patch: The plug patch, encased in a metal sleeve for precise placement, is pushed into the tire.
  4. Remove the metal sleeve: Once the plug is securely in place, the sleeve is removed.
  5. Trim the plug: The rubber plug is cut to be flush with the tire's surface.
  6. Bond the patch: A tire stitcher is used to adhere the patch to the tire's interior.
  7. Seal the patch: The entire patch is covered with a layer of tire cement for added protection.

Experience the difference of a professionally repaired tire.
